The Dynamic Dance of Connection: Navigating In-Person and Virtual Experiences in the Events Industry

The International Confex 2024, where Frog Events had a stand, was not just a boost for in-person attendees but a testament to the industry's innovation in connecting both in-person and online audiences. The bustling exhibitions, filled with businesses striving to make connections, were complemented by a novel approach that leveraged AI to engage both sides.

We asked event professionals visiting us on our stand at the Delegate Wrangler’s Pavilion, ‘what it means to work in events’. The respondents answers and comments were typed into the Frog Events AI video wall. Artificial intelligence then went to work and created AI-generated images for each response!

These images were cleverly woven into the captivating video above by AI. The narration of the video (also AI) became a message for these shared experiences featuring insights, emotions, and reflections from participants on what it truly feels like to be a part of an event. The AI-driven engagement not only brought together the in-person and online communities but also showcased the collective heartbeat of the industry as a whole.

The innovative use of AI to engage both in-person and virtual audiences at Confex 2024 showcased a forward-thinking approach, creating a vibrant tapestry that encapsulates the true essence of what working in events feels like.
